  • Coach and Horses

    COACH AND HORSES

    Three-day foundation course in equine-assisted learning and development - for trainers, coaches and facilitators. This programme equips delegates with understanding, knowledge and practical skills for the delivery of equine-facilitated coaching and equine-assisted learning programmes.

    The course is highly experiential – blending classroom learning and ‘hands-on’ sessions with the LeadChange horses.

  • Courses with Horses

    THE ART OF FACILITATION

    A practical facilitation skills training programme held over 3 days. The programme provides a whole person framework (philosophy and methodology) and experiential skills training in group facilitation. Participants develop the skills and ability to facilitate any group to meet its purpose.

    This is an experiential programme where participants will get the opportunity to practice facilitation of the group with coaching and feedback from the course leaders and fellow participants. Working with the horses provides a level of feedback and insightful coaching for participants to develop the ability to be truly present to self and others.

    Course Outcomes

    • Understand the role of a facilitator and the group development cycles
    • Clarify and identify a group purpose
    • Create a safe and empowering group culture
    • Learn the whole personhood approach and be present to self, others and the group
    • Practice a range of interventions, processes and techniques appropriately within the group
    • Be comfortable with a wide range of behaviours and handle conflict effectively
    • Recognise and work with different energy levels in self, others and the group

    Coaching with Presence

    What is the difference between good coaching and great coaching?

    Great coaching makes use of, and goes beyond the use of processes, tools and techniques. Great coaches have highly-developed sensory awareness, pick up on energy, ask powerful questions and ‘hold the space’ for their clients by being fully present.

    LeadChange
    LeadChange facilitates the development of ‘coaching presence’ through insightful and memorable experiential workshops with horses. We specialise in equine-facilitated coaching, leadership development and team building. Our ‘Courses with Horses’ combine horse-whispering and non-directive coaching in powerful and unique learning experiences which clients frequently describe as life-changing.

    Coaching with Presence
    This all-day session provides a rare opportunity for coaches to experience a radically different coaching approach - interacting with horses at liberty. Horses give instant, honest, accurate feedback moment by moment to how we are being and behaving around them; they do not role play!
